White's Treasure Stories!
A couple of weeks ago I broke three ribs, and just couldn't get out to detect. Needless to say, I was pretty bummed. However, I started back up again yesterday. Today I went to a old one room schoolhouse in a nearby town. My son and I pulled out five Wheats, a Silver Medal, a Pocket Watch and some Clad. I also found yet another Pocket Watch in pretty good shape. I have to say, I found some more clad, and a gold plated ring.
I then I got a strange signal in the silver range but a broken signal. So, I began digging and about five inches down, out popped this beautiful 1783 Spanish Reale. I thought I was going to pass out I was so stoked! A couple feet away I found an 1864 Indian head penny. It was a nice way to get my White's DFX 300 with the 10" DD coil swinging again. Thanks White's and thank you Kellyco.
