I have been relic hunting with White's detectors for many years. Last Sunday, with my XLT, I found a silver I.D. shield with the soldiers name and co. engraved on it. He was awarded the Medal of Honor for capturing a confederate battle flag at the battle of Sailors Creek, Virginia, the last battle that confederates fought before their surrender at Appomattox.
